Process
the Harvest.
Transformation. Ferment, extract, cure, smoke. 12-day curves, salt equilibrium, mold reference — preserve everything.
Phase 4 is the homestead's most-skipped phase, and the most expensive to skip. The harvest is finite. What you don't preserve, ferment, extract, or cure is what you'll buy back at retail in February.
The Culture Archive logs sauerkraut, kombucha, sourdough. Plant Apothecary moves leaves to bottles. Smoke & Salt covers dry curing and the salt-equilibrium math that makes it safe.
All three phase-four outputs land in Phase 5's pantry. Without process, there is no pantry to steward.
Each ledger feeds the next. Last season's outputs become this season's inputs — the system compounds across years, not weeks.
