Refund Policy
Digital downloads, store orders, and Amazon print editions — what's refundable and how to ask.
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to purchases from The Steading Codex (Web Production Labs LLC).
1 · Digital products (PDF / downloads)
Because digital products are delivered instantly and can be copied, they are generally non-refundable once the download has been accessed or delivered. If a file is faulty, won't open, or you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund it.
2 · EU / UK buyers — right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU and UK normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases. For digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the download begins. If you did not give that consent, your statutory withdrawal right still applies — contact us.
3 · Printed editions bought on Amazon
Printed editions sold and shipped by Amazon are covered by Amazon's own returns and refund policy. Please request returns or refunds for those through your Amazon account.
4 · Store-fulfilled orders
For physical items we sell and ship directly, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery if the item is unused and in original condition; damaged or defective items will be replaced or refunded. Shipping costs may be non-refundable except where the item was faulty.
5 · How to request a refund
Email hello@thesteadingcodex.com or use our Contact page with your order number and what went wrong. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method; your bank or card provider may take additional time to post it.
6 · Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
